A little bit about me

I love reading. I love books. I love words. I always have done. I remember going on holiday with a book for every day of the holiday and then still finishing those and stealing my mum’s. So it’s no surprise that I’ve ended up in the wonderful world of words. The ability to tell a story and engage an audience through the power of words is something I’ll never get bored of. 

Living just a stone’s throw from the sea, in Hampshire, UK, there’s nothing like a walk along the seafront to get that creativity flowing. Especially after growing up in landlocked Worcester. 

I haven’t always been a Content Strategist. I started my career in events and marketing. Then on my second maternity leave was offered the opportunity to work for myself as a copywriter. I haven’t looked back since. I love working with different service businesses, writing about anything from dogs to CAD to hip replacements to tax evasion. I make a great addition to any quiz team!

My family are my why. I’ve got a handful of kids of varying ages and I want to be there for them - for every assembly, pick up and school holidays. That means I take on work I’m passionate about with people who I love to work with.
